John is a classically trained musician from Cincinnati Ohio.
John mixes smooth, classical and edgy-cord sounds with his raw and silky voice that invites you into his musical playground of original compositions and lyrics. His improvisation of old jazz favorites exhibits respect for the composers, artist, and their music. His deep passion and love for his music is felt by audiences both young and old and from all walks of life. |

John has performed as keyboard or electric bass player in opening acts for such stars as Roy Orbison, Alice Coltrane, Earth, Wind, and Fire and Donny Hathaway. He also briefly played keyboard for the recording group Tavares.
He toured the U.S., Europe, and Canada as the bass player with the late legendary bluesman T-Bone Walker. Some of the highlights include: performing at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland, Carnegie Hall in New York, and clubs in Paris. He also recorded with the T-bone Walker Blues Band on Fly Walker Airlines (Polydor PD5521). |
